Easy Golden Turmeric Meatballs

These turmeric meatballs are a simple, comforting dish that comes together with very little effort. The sauce starts with gently sautéed onion and garlic, followed by tomatoes, stock, and a blend of herbs that slowly simmer to create a rich, aromatic base. Once the meatballs are added, they cook directly in the sauce, absorbing all of those warm flavours.

What makes this recipe a little different is the addition of turmeric. Not only does it give the dish a beautiful golden colour and subtle earthy flavour, but it also provides curcumin — the natural compound in turmeric that has

been widely recognised for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. It’s an easy way to add extra nutritional value to a comforting, everyday meal.
